Best Paper Awards

The Scientific Committee of ICOPEC 2025 will grant three Best Paper Awards (Certificate of Best Paper) to authors of submitted full papers—including those presented both in person and virtually.

Awards will be considered across the following disciplines:

Political Economy, Public Administration, Public Finance, Labour Economics, International Relations, Economics, Politics, Sociology, Anthropology, Philosophy, Gender, and Sustainability.

To be eligible for the Best Paper Award, authors must:

• Submit a full paper by the final deadline,

• Indicate their candidacy by completing the relevant section of the Final Registration Form,

• Complete these steps before the late registration deadline.

Only papers officially nominated through the registration form will be evaluated by the award jury.

The evaluation will be based on the following criteria:

• Originality and uniqueness of the research,

• Scientific quality and rigor,

• Clarity and relevance of the title,

• Coherence and informativeness of the abstract,

• Appropriateness and precision of the keywords.
