Conference will be held at Kocaeli University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences in Umuttepe, Kocaeli.
How to Get Conference Venue
Important Notes:
1- Be aware of the interchangeable use of Kocaeli and İzmit; Kocaeli is the name of the province/greater municipality, and İzmit is the name of the central town.
2-Be sure to exchange your money at the airport for the metro train and bus tickets.
Atatürk Airport – Esenler (Otogar/Bus Station) - İzmit – Umuttepe Campus
Take the metro train; the airport is the starting station, so there is only one way to go. The arrival station’s name is “Esenler/Otogar”. Esenler is the name of the location and Otogar means bus station. (Otogar metro station is the 10th station after the airport, and it will take around 25-30 minutes to get there.
At “Esenler Otogar” which is a huge international bus station, you have to find one of these two bus companies that travel to İzmit every half an hour; “İzmit Seyahat”, and “Efe Tur” (Here are some directions to find İzmit Seyahat and Efe Tur. Once you get out of the train at the Otogar station, turn right immediately, and go straight to the stairs. Get up the stairs, pass the turnpike and turn right again. You will see a little corner store/restaurant in front of you; pass that, and get out of the door you will see right there. Now you are outside. Look up towards the signboards; İzmit Seyahat and Efe Tur will be right across from there.)
If you do not use the shuttle, you can get off the bus in Halkevi stop; here you can take the Umuttepe Bus (Number 33, with its white signboard). The bus departs every 5 minutes.

Once you get on the bus, tell the service person, who will be checking the tickets, that you will get off in Halkevi; here you can take the minibus departing for Derbent every half an hour. Get off the minibus near the hotel and walk about five hundred meters to reach the hotel.
İzmit City Center - Umuttepe
There are two options:
1. Kocaeli University Personell Shuttle (with a signboard reads Körfez Turizm) from Anıtpark (at the corner of the park, across from the university buildings) departing for Umuttepe Campus every half an hour. (There is no service between 4:30 and 6:30.)
2. The Umuttepe Bus (Number 33, with its white signboard). The bus departs for Umuttepe every 5 minutes in Halkevi.
İzmit City Center (Halkevi) - Derbent
In Halkevi, you can take the minibus departing for Derbent every half an hour. Get off the minibus near the hotel and walk about five hundred meters to reach the hotel.
UMUTTEPE CAMPUS
The opening of the Conference will take place in Faculty of Economics Administrative Sciences, located at the Umuttepe Campus of Kocaeli University.
